Who we are

Unframed is an art rental and sales platform based in Madrid, Spain. When you interact with our website (unframed.es), we act as the data controller for any personal information you provide.

What data we collect

We collect only the information you voluntarily provide:

• Enquiry form: name, phone number, email (optional), message
• Reservation form: name, email, phone (optional), artwork selections
• Contract signing: full legal name, ID number, address, signature, IBAN (for payment setup)

We may also collect the URL campaign parameters (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign) when you submit a form, to understand how you found us.

How we use your data

• To respond to your enquiry or confirm your reservation
• To prepare and manage rental or sale contracts
• To process payments via Stripe (our payment processor)
• To send you confirmation and follow-up emails via Resend (our email provider)
• To improve our service and understand how visitors find us

Who we share data with

We only share your data with third-party services necessary to operate:

• Supabase (database hosting, EU region)
• Stripe (payment processing)
• Resend (transactional email)
• Cloudflare R2 (document and image storage)
• Vercel (website hosting)

We do not sell your data to anyone.

Data retention

We keep your data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose it was collected for, or as required by law. Enquiry data is kept for up to 2 years. Contract and payment data is kept for 6 years as required by Spanish tax law.

Your rights

Under the GDPR and Spanish LOPDGDD, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to or restrict processing
• Data portability

Cookies

We use a single essential cookie (admin_session) for administrator authentication. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy and request consent where required.
